Improving the efficiency of operation quarry dump trucks on placer deposits in the North conditions

In the article presents the results of the analysis statistical information of failures the quarry dump trucks BelAZ-7540 which operation on the placer deposits of the North. For the example used data about failures quarry dump trucks of the Mayat mine in the Anabar district of Yakutia. The characteristic of conditions of exploitation are shown. The development of placer deposits on the North is carried out seasonally character. In the cold season, open-up operations are carried out with drilling and blasting technology. In the warm season, bulldozers carry out peat stripping and hoeing of thawed sands. The moisture contained in frozen peat and sand melts, it is reason of mud on the polygons. Precipitation also contributes to this. The movement of dump trucks in such conditions are the reasons of increased rolling resistance of wheels and abrasive wear of friction units. It is established that the reliability of quarry dump trucks during the development of placer deposits depends on by the season and the operational life. In the Regulations of the maintenance (repair) periodicity for these factors in the existing provisions on scheduled preventive repairs are not included. It is shown that the number of failures has seasonal dynamics. Improving the efficiency and rhythmicity of work the dump trucks can be provided by correct the maintenance periodicity by coefficients that allow taking into account the influence of unaccounted factors. For minimize of errors in the calculation of correction coefficients, it is advisable to use the kosinor-analysis method. It is found that this method is suitable for calculating the predicted number of failures
