Heads the Department of Mining at the Petrozavodsk State University and the Science and Education Center for Methods to Control Properties of Construction Rocks under Disintegration (Institute of Rational Nature Management, European Server, Petrozavodsk State University)

•    Development of theoretical principles for integrated open pit/underground thick ore mine planning in the North, 1995
•    Utilization of thermal insulation snow–rock cover in hybrid ore mining, 1996
