Graduated from the Mining and Construction Faculty of the Tula State Institute, specializing in Mining Machines and Systems and qualified as a Master of Engineering in Mining (2003). Undertook postgraduate studies at the Tula State University in 2003–2006. Defended the Candidate of Sciences dissertation in 2006 and the Doctoral dissertation in 2014.

Academic degrees and ranks: Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor.

Areas of research interests: waterjet technologies and equipment in mining, coal and rock fracture mechanics, heading and mining machines.

Professional activity:
Expert in the sphere of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities in the gas industry.
Scientific work is executed at the Tula Branch of the Academy of Mining Sciences.

—Industrial Safety Expert of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.
